ASTRO CAN CARAVAN:
21st Century Drifting Episode
Astro can caravan is a quite young Finnish orchestra that play weird jazz with influences from African and Finnish music to funk. They have great live conserts and their big brass section sounds fantastic. It sounds sometimes a bit like Sun Ra in 1960, which I like a lot.

Aavikko: Back From The Futer.
I got the new Aavikko LP Back From The Futer yesterday and I think it's great. It sounds even more italo-disco, gamemusic and avantgarde than Multi Muysic.
One notable thing is that Staufenbiel has composed a lot of tracks when it used to be mostly Kosonen.

I like everything they have done and I like a band that you can count on.

My favourite tracks are Salamapallo & Homo Futurus.

This LP I found quite cheap from a thrift store where I've found most of my organ cover records. This is however special. Artie Kane's fast and crazy improvisations are just beautiful and so is the orchestra backing him up.

YMCK - Family Music
I ordered this CD from Japan via the bands website and got it in a week. This is beautiful 8-bit Nintendo style music with cute vocals. It's my favourite CD from year 2004!
